TL;DR: Due to the digital nature of ImageKit, all sales are final and no refunds are provided after purchase. Please review the features carefully before buying.

No Refunds Policy

ImageKit is a digital software product delivered instantly upon purchase. Because of this:

  • All sales are final — no refunds, returns, or exchanges
  • You receive immediate access to download and use the software
  • We cannot "take back" digital products once delivered
  • This policy is standard for digital goods across the industry

Why No Refunds?

Digital products are different from physical goods:

  • Instant delivery means you have the product immediately
  • No way to verify if software has been copied or shared
  • Prevents abuse (buy, use, refund, keep using)
  • Keeps prices fair for honest customers

Before You Buy

To ensure ImageKit is right for you, please:

  • Review the features: Check the homepage for supported formats and capabilities
  • Check system requirements: Ensure your device meets minimum specs (see Terms)
  • Read reviews: See what other users say (ProductHunt, social media)

Exceptions (Rare Cases)

We may consider refunds in these specific situations:

1. Technical Issues

If ImageKit fails to install or run on your system:

  • Contact us within 7 days of purchase
  • We'll troubleshoot the issue first (usually fixable)
  • If we can't resolve it, we may issue a refund
  • You must provide system details and error logs

2. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally bought ImageKit twice:

  • Contact us within 7 days with both order numbers
  • We'll verify the duplicate and refund one purchase
  • Keep one license active for your use

3. Payment Errors

If you were charged incorrectly:

  • Contact us immediately with transaction details
  • We'll investigate with our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy)
  • Legitimate errors will be refunded promptly

What's NOT Covered

We cannot provide refunds for:

  • Change of mind: "I don't need it anymore"
  • Buyer's remorse: "I shouldn't have bought it"
  • Feature expectations: "I thought it would do X" (check features first!)
  • User error: Incorrect usage or misunderstanding how it works
  • Compatibility: If your system doesn't meet requirements (check before buying)
  • Performance: "It's slower than I expected" (depends on your hardware)
  • Format limitations: Some formats have inherent quality/size tradeoffs

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for an exception:

  1. Email us at support@imagekit.ink
  2. Include your order number (from Lemon Squeezy)
  3. Explain the issue in detail
  4. Provide screenshots or error logs if applicable
  5. We'll respond within 48 hours (business days)

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • Processed through Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor)
  • Refunded to your original payment method
  • Takes 5-10 business days to appear in your account
  • Your license will be deactivated
  • You must uninstall ImageKit and stop using it

Chargebacks

Please don't file a chargeback without contacting us first.

  • Chargebacks hurt small businesses with fees and penalties
  • We're reasonable people — reach out and we'll work it out
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action
