Agreement

By purchasing and using ImageKit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the software.

License Grant

When you purchase ImageKit, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the software:

• Personal use: Install on any devices you personally own
• Commercial use: Use for business purposes (converting images for clients, projects, etc.)
• Unlimited conversions: No restrictions on how many images you process
• Lifetime access: One-time payment, no subscriptions

Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or share your license with others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
• Remove or alter any copyright notices
• Use the software to create competing products
• Claim ownership of the software or its code

What ImageKit Does

ImageKit is an ultra-fast desktop image converter that:

• Converts between 35+ image formats (WEBP, AVIF, PNG, JPEG, HEIC, RAW, and more)
• Processes images locally on your device (no uploads, complete privacy)
• Supports batch conversion with parallel processing
• Works on macOS, Windows, and Linux
• Built with Rust for maximum performance and memory safety

Software Warranty

ImageKit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We strive for quality, but:

• We don't guarantee the software will be error-free or uninterrupted
• We're not liable for data loss, corruption, or any damages from using ImageKit
• You're responsible for backing up your files before conversion
• Image quality depends on source files and format limitations

Updates and Support

Updates: Early access purchasers receive all future updates for free. We'll add new formats, improve performance, and fix bugs.

Support: Priority email support for troubleshooting and questions. Response within 48 hours on business days.

Supported Formats

ImageKit supports 35+ formats including:

• Modern: WEBP, AVIF, HEIF/HEIC, JPEG XL, JPEG 2000
• Standard: JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, ICNS
• Professional: PSD, SVG, EXR, HDR, DDS, TGA
• Camera RAW: DNG, CR2/CR3, NEF, ARW, ORF, RAF (read-only)

System Requirements

• macOS: 10.15 (Catalina) or later
• Windows: Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
• Linux: Modern distributions with glibc 2.31+
• RAM: 4GB minimum, 8GB recommended for large batches
• Disk: 50MB for installation

Privacy

All image processing happens locally on your device. We never upload, store, or access your files. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the software, all sales are final. No refunds are provided after purchase. Please review the features and try the demo (if available) before buying.

Exceptions may be made for:

• Technical issues preventing software installation (we'll help troubleshoot first)
• Duplicate purchases (contact us within 7 days)

Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using ImageKit and delete all copies.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software
• We're not responsible for third-party services (payment processors, etc.)

Open Source Components

ImageKit uses open-source libraries (Rust, Tauri, image processing libraries). These components have their own licenses, which we comply with. Full attribution available in the app's "About" section.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. Major changes will be announced via email (if you're on our list).

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court.
